I’m in the process of getting ready to move and as a result, I’m moving around my linens and beginning to divest of those that I rarely use. I decided to move my guest room linens into my master bedroom for the summer because I absolutely love this old pattern from Yves DeLorme!
The pattern is called Mai and is from 1996. I’m not sure what the pretty fuschia flowers are (maybe they’re fuschia?), but I loved the combination of pinks and greens on a solid ecru background. Several years after I purchased this set, I added what I loving call the “Alphabet” boutis quilt — again from Yves DeLorme. I put an ivory gauze ruffled bedskirt with it that puddles on the floor. And a couple of years ago, I bought these antique oversized white shams with turkey red scallops and embroidery (I’ll write about these later) that anchor the back of the bed. Although these linens are old, they are in perfect condition and they are still very fresh! One of my sales associates said Yves DeLorme should bring back some of the old patterns — let me know what you think! I love my Yves DeLorme!
